Artist - using wool as an artistic medium to create pictures.
Inspired by the exceptional in everyday moments, how light and shade impact on colour, her work is figurative in style and is a reflection of the world around her.
Bridget originally studied Craft Design, specialising in ceramics and surface pattern in Carmarthenshire College of Technology and Art and she worked with the Northern Potters Association for a number of years from 2001 – 05 selling her work.
Bridget also runs an Arts & Craft Co-operative in her home village, Acaster Malbis, near York; where likeminded people meet up bringing whatever they are making or they join in a workshop.
It was here that one of the members of her co-operative taught her to felt in 2010.
Since then her passion for using wool as an artistic medium has grown into a full-time business, exhibiting and selling her Felt Picture work and teaching others her techniques in workshops.
